The Norman Bird Sanctuary is a nonprofit wildlife sanctuary and environmental education center. All proceeds directly support our mission to protect our 300-acre refuge for the benefit of wildlife and the community to enjoy. In 1949, Mabel Norman Cerio left a special gift to Aquidneck Island and to lovers of nature throughout the region in the form of the land we know today as the Norman Bird Sanctuary.
