Your alternator will have an output of about 14.4 volts. This results in your voltage reading being higher when your alternator is producing power and the battery takes time to settle back to it's fully charged resting reading of 12.6 to 12.7 volts. A battery that is 50% will show a voltage reading of 12.06v.

When coasting and foot off the pedal, the generator charges the 48V battery. This applies to vehicles with eTorque. My jeep does not have eTorque. OK, then something isn't quite right. Sep 26, 2023 · Here's what I'd do. Leave everything as-is and park the Jeep after a long drive to insure the batteries are fully charged. Read the voltage of the battery. Then let it sit overnight. Read the voltage again and see how much it dropped. It shouldn't be much, no more than 0.1v. If it's more than that something is definitely draining the battery.
