The most common method is to disconnect the secondary battery or start/stop module (depending on which one you have). I think if the tool works, many would be interested in that.

If I put light pressure on the pedal when stopped it won't engage, but if I press the pedal down with normal pressure it engages.attached is the stock file. there is no tranny support though so I couldn't throw it on the dyno. There is a button on the bottom of the middle console, below the shifter. Hit the button to turn the auto stop off. 2014 Does not have the option to disable start/stop. Lift the hood and there is a wire connector under the front, disconnect the wire and that fixes it. I had to do it to my 2014 Chevy Malibu.Sometimes adding coolant to 1/2" above the tank line fixes it, sometimes you have to drain and fill the entire system. You might notice it entering and exiting an auto stop as well.
