The vehicle has 188,000 kilometers and the engine is presently running fine with no noticeable noises. The dealer estimated that to check and adjust the valves might be as much as $700-800 Canadian. A lot of other engine brands don't live to the point they need their valves adjusted, or they self adjust. Hondas have complicated valve train and need to be manually adjusted every 100k or so.
